The Christian faith begins by recognising who Jesus of Nazareth is, why he came, and what it means to follow him.  One of the things Jesus commissioned his followers to do was to ‘go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.’

At Kingsbridge Evangelical church, in order to complete that commission, we run a course from time to time called Christianity Explored, which is open to anyone interested in attending and usually has about 10 - 20 participants.

If you would like to come to our next Christianity Explored course, we would love to have you join us.  The course is free and runs over a 7 week period, with each weekly session including a light meal, a DVD viewing followed by discussion.

Throughout the 7 weeks we look at the life and teaching of Jesus, as recorded in Mark’s gospel.  You can ask any question you like, indeed the first question of the course is ‘If you could ask God one question, what would it be?’  Apart from a short prayer of thanksgiving before each meal (‘grace’) there is no praying, no singing, and no reading out loud.

Each weekly session lasts approximately one and a half to two hours.  If you would like to attend, it is absolutely free, however please let us know you’re coming as it helps us cater for meals.  If you would like more information about Christianity Explored, please go to http://www.christianityexplored.org/.
